The center section showed up beautiful, extremely well packaged and installed no problem. When we took the car to the track it outperformed our wildest expectations. I ran the eighth of a mile in 6.8 seconds at 101 miles an hour and had a 0 to 60 time of 2.4 seconds. Not shabby for a 1968 full-bodied Mustang with all the factory glass and interior and everything. The excitement came when after about eight runs I blew up my gear vendor overdrive. It was under warranty so they are rebuilding it for free and adding a superheavy duty clutch to it. I fully expect to go even quicker when I get that back. With this new center section and extremely tall gear I think I actually have a chance to set a new record at the Texas mile by going faster than 155 mph. Please tell John I said that he does outstanding work and will be the guy I go to from now on.
